Black and White

Winter is intense here in South Korea and keeping our head warm but trying to "look good" at the same time is quite challenging. Then, we stumbled upon a headband that was created by our dear friend Letitia from Lookunderhere, we thought of creating the same thing but gave a little twist of ours by adding a bow for the finished touch.
Boots- Shoespie / Turban Headband- Q2HAN / Pants- Choies
For the outfit, we went simple by going all black but kept the white houndstooth pattern as a main focus for this look. We will never grow tired of monochrome look as black and white are one of our favorite colors. Something about them just scream simplicity, doesn't it? For the shoes, we paired on these cool ankle boots from Shoespie, and surprisingly it was very comfortable to walk with. Score!

Dream Land (Romwe Giveaway)

DIY Velvet Leggings YouTube Tutorial
We don't know about you, but finding the right leggings is quite challenging for us; especially, when we are looking for the ones with the fancy slits on it. It needs to have the right numbers of slits at the exact place in the exact size we want. Then, there are other things to consider: the texture, the color, and the list goes on and on. So, this tutorial is for those of you who face similar challenges as we do! We're so in love with this dress from ROMWE, and we've been wearing this non-stop, taking turns, as tartan pattern is not only in trend but the dress itself was very comfortable. Last season's strict monochrome trend has given its way to softer tartan pattern, and there is something about it that always reminds us of Christmas and other winter holidays.

This breathtaking view belongs to Suncheon Bay in South Korea. It was one of the most beautiful and tranquil places that we've ever been to. It's a shame we didn't get to know about this place earlier. By the way, ROMWE was kind enough to provide a black dress as a giveaway for one of our lucky subscribers. Simple rules are listed on the description box of our video, so make sure to check us out! The winner will be announced via our Facebook! Good luck :) xx

Keep It Simple and Warm

DIY Box Pleat Skirt YouTube Tutorial
One of the most things that we love about box pleat skirt is its refined detail. Every line is aligned perfectly straight from each other, which gives this polished and clean look. And i  guess that is why many school uniforms consist of box pleated skirts (at least here in Asia). So we decided to design our own version of box pleat skirt with a heavy wool material which is perfect for a current weather in South Korea.
Shirt- Banggood / Box Pleated Skirt- Q2HAN / Necklace- ShopLately
I'm wearing this beautifully colored light indigo cotton shirt from Banggood. Whenever we purchase a bottom down shirt, we always happen to choose the one that is a one size larger than our normal size. It's not only more comfortable, but it usually ends up looking better on us compared to the ones that fit close to our skin.

Hearts and Hearts

How's everybody's new year going so far? Ours have been non stop busy constantly since the day we arrived here in Korea (a day right after Christmas). Last week, we headed to an outlet mall close to where we are temporary residing in our parent's house. We had so much fun looking into so many variety of Korean brands that we aren't aware of. We'll make sure to share some of our favorite Korean brands when we have more spare time!
Top- Persunmall / Faux Fur Coat- Sheinside / Shoes- Shoespie
These hearts stole our hearts the moment we reached to the entrance of the mall. They all have these short love and appreciation messages written on it! Thought it was an amazing idea for New Year decoration. Well, have an amazing weekend and we'll talk to you soon on our next diy video!

On Top Of The World

DIY Side-Slit Midi Skirt YouTube Tutorial
We never imagined Korea to be this cold, and wearing a skirt is simply impossible. But we couldn’t give up on wearing maxi skirt; so, we decided to create this midi skirt that can be worn with warm leggings or jeans inside. You will need 1 ½ yard of light weighted fabric of your choice, as well as rubber bands for the waist and three snap closures.
Sweater- Rosewholesale / Midi Skirt- Q2HAN / Hat- Vintage
As always, here is the first outfit that we put together, and I’m wearing this cozy oversized turtleneck wool sweater from Rosewholesale that we are absolutely in love with. On top of that, we got so many compliments for it! The large turtleneck is definitely a plus for the freezing temperature and the side-slit added sparks to the outfit. By the way, we are in love with this scenery and it’s a small museum located close to where we are staying. I literally had to get changed at the scene, but it was definitely worthwhile.

Laced Up In South Korea

DIY Laced-Up Khaki Pants
Happy new year everyone! It’s been a long time since the last video and it still feels surreal to be here in Korea with our families. On top of that, we can’t wait to show you the bits and bits of our country! For this week’s tutorial, we designed a laced-up pants that was inspired by Isabel Marant’s collection for H&M. By simply adding grommets on the side seams of the trouser, it created this mixture of boho chic with rock ‘n’ roll vibe. You will need 1 yard of twill fabric with moderate amount of spandex in order to easily move within the pants. You will also need black grommets and strings for this tutorial.
Outerwear- Sheinside / Pants- Q2HAN / Rings- Shoplately / Boots- Gap
In terms of the outfit, I’m wearing this extremely soft and cozy coat from Sheinside. What's most interesting about this coat is that it is a denim jacket with faux fur sleeves attached to it. The inside of the denim is also coated with wool, which is a plus for an extra warmth during current weather in South Korea. Trying to get used to cold weather is very challenging after living so long in warm SoCal. But luckily, this jacket kept me warm throughout the film, and from the airport to Korea.
